My use of a microphone or platform NEVER started because of others. It was only for and about me.
I'm not of the thought and I do not agree with those who say that my story is not for me. It is absolutely FOR ME!
And what one of my closest people at one time told me, "Your story is for you, but it's for someone else when you come out of it Simene'".
The key is to come out of it myself first.
I used to share my story to get it off of me.
But it was what I did privately that helped me get to a place to share it publicly.
Don't allow fear to grip you from telling your own story.
What you have survived and encountered, others have succumb to.
What you experienced that was not even your fault, please don't allow that to muzzle your mouth from speaking.
Some people have experienced the most horrific and depraved things done or said to them or about them by people or individuals in their families, ministries, businesses, careers, and friendships. No wonder why a lot of people choose strangers to open up to.
But freedom has come and it's time for you to get that off of you so you can move forward and live.
Live and not die.
LIVE.
Let..Intentional...Violations...Escape...
And escape can be defined as
1. to get away
2. to issue from confinement
3. to avoid a threatening evil
4. to get free of and break away from.
So in other words, get free from, get away from, and do not keep yourself in confinement from any and all of the violations of your past.

May 22, 2020 was the conclusion of my 1st 5 Day Writing Challenge. There was not a monetary cost for the ladies who joined, but they had to pay with their time, commitment, and follow through.
I ran across the recording of our closing session with one of the best coaches I had at the time, Dr. Cheryl Wood.
Prior to her speaking, the participants shared what they took away from the workshop and how it helped them.
It moved me then but it moved me even the more today when I listened to it.
To look back and see the women who have come through my writing challenges that went on to write their first books and second books and those who were already authors who have written several other projects, gave me the push to get back up and do it again.
I’m hosting my next writing challenge in 3 weeks.
