I wanted to share something that’s really helped me in my own projects. There’s an asset pack on itch.io that I’ve been using, and right now it’s 50% OFF for a limited time!
Instead of spending hours making placeholders or searching for free stuff that didn’t fit, you can jump straight into designing, prototyping, and actually building the game. It honestly helped me, personally, improve as a developer and made creating games way more fun. If you’re looking to speed up your process, polish your projects, or just need reliable assets to practice with—THIS PACK IS WORTH IT!
OVER 1000 + assets, building sets, multiple variations of textures, sound effects, music, nature packs, ALL!
Only by using the link below, you can get all that and more for 50% OFF! NO AI, NO BS.

I am sorry, but what in the actual Loch Ness Monster crazy stuff is going on with @itchiogames
They have been harassing and false accusing me of things I can not remotely understand.
Context - I posted a new game, "Spare", which I worked on for weeks. The game was false flagged by their automatic system (I assume) and even thou many people downloaded a played it (facts, many videos made on the game on YouTube), the game is still under quarantine. Fine, I tried to text their support team - no answer, for 2 days.
Then, per usual, I play a game, make a video, try to support the developer and once I tried to write a comment this showed up.
What do you want @itchiogames ? I have not done anything, absolutely nothing and clearly they censor me for no reason whatsoever? This is just ridiculous!!!

To whom it may concern 📣📢
I made a game called "Subdue". It was originally created for the game jam and I was happy to be a part of it. The game was very poorly developed, short and in the end, I was dissatisfied with it. Long story short, I removed "Subdue". I know it seems very unfair to those, who were interested in the game to not have it anymore and I deeply apologize for it.
In my previous posts I mentioned that making short, 10 minute horror games have become very "repetitive". In addition, I've been very vocal about my personal situation concerning "writer's block" and the lack of enthusiasm towards making games in general. The whole reason why I make game is to share my ideas with everyone and at the same time show appreciation to them, who like/dislike those projects. I deeply appreciate every single one of you, those who support me and always give fair feedback. I feel very privileged to have such a fan base and your comments, videos, they just make my day better. I promise to get back to work and deliver even better, more "meaty" projects in the future. All I am asking you is to not give up on me.
On another note, I want to say huge thanks to my previous sponsor of the games - Pizza Doggy, who won't be a long time sponsor anymore, due to some creative differences. They make the best art and I am very grateful for the support they've given me. I wish all the best to them and the community they created.
That's all for today. Thanks for your attention and hopefully, things will get back to norm soon. Take care.

To whom it may concern 📣📣📣
I really wanted to put this out there, that I feel very overwhelmed with game development and this feeling has been bugging me for over a month now. I put out some teasers for "Avoid" and "Passenger 6", the games I was working on, but I just decided to scrap those completely.
I really want to focus on a bigger game with more gameplay, more atmosphere and less of that "10 minute" stuff, so, I might not make another game till March. But again, I made a small jam project called "Subdue", because I wanted to test myself. In conclusion, I really want my games to have more playtime, so, hope to make something like that, a bigger project in March.
Now, this does not concern playing games or making tutorials, so, I am not going anywhere, still posting regularly, as much as I can. That's it.
Thanks for your attention and wish all the best!

A nuisance, honestly...
But, recently I've been experiencing some mood swings. I am sure YT community tab isn't a great place to share this, but I've had some trouble trying to just temper myself over little things, particularly indie games. Today, I played 5 games in a row, all from different developers and all of them were just awful. It happens, but rarely do I see games that were so irresponsibly made with needlessly complicated mechanics, stupendous amount of bugs and AI, I just...I HATE AI GENERATED GAMES!
With all that said, I hope for better games to come out, very soon. I'll try to be okay before that 😑

A RANT IN A LIFE OF A GAME DEVELOPER:
I was working on a new game, trying to set-up the scene, basically a nice forest with trees. Then, I came across a random comment by someone on a game I've made, this is their comment:
"I personally believe that making the same trigger system over and over again, then flip assets and call it a new game is lazy as hell. And it's not even many triggers with forking roads, it's just a three trigger straight line and one fork leading to a bad ending in this one. You can code that in an hour"
Well, people like this are the worst type! Do you want to know why? Because they are uneducated, misinformed, blindly guided by trends and have no perception of things. First of all, I don't "flip assets" - flipping assets would be me going straight to any, advanced game engine store, buying a fully made samples of the games with their own assets, downloading, changing the name and calling it a day - I don't do that. Asset flipping is a broad term, which most people use to define - "using purchased assets in your game" - no, that is not true. I support artists, who make assets and sell them, just the assets, literal 3D objects, nothing else and I buy those, then create completely original environments and write/developer my own stories. Second, people like these have no idea, how much effort and time goes into making even a 10 minute game, because they see the final result - do you know how much time does it take to set-up a scene? Make something from literally nothing? An idea? Exactly, it takes time, days, weeks, sometimes even months.
So, next time my dear reader, if you stumble across a person like that, please, inform them that they are wrong.

"Don't make promises you can't keep" - well, this quote haunts me every month I don't deliver a good game.
This month has been a rollercoaster. I've focused more on gaming videos, a bit less on development, but I got intriguing projects coming to "Spooky Month". I hope, this October will be amazing.
Thanks all for support as usual and happy spooky season 👻🍂

Well...
To whom it may concern, this announcement is about my project "Angst", which has been sadly cancelled. There are many reasons to why I decided to do that, first being that the game has been in development for more than 3 months and I can't go anywhere with it. I am literally stuck at the second part and there is no way forward. I apologize to those, who have commented on the trailer and who might have been waiting for the game.
I hope my other future projects can compensate this loss.
Best to all.
