2 Hubbies was established by two "hubbies" who became involved in their wives hobby - cross stitching. It started with the hubbies being asked to see if it was possible to get a more efficient way to assemble/disassemble the most common frames so that you could move up and down the fabric they worked with more quickly and easily. Not only did we manage to solve this but also make the whole assembly / disassembly exercise superfluous and that one could effectively with the Albert frame mount the fabric once and then roll up and down in the fabric sweet spot by pressing switches.
When we made the first prototype and our wives got to try them, they learned that one could also, instead of turning the frame around to attach the thread, just roll back to attach the thread to the role. More information on our web page: 2 hubbies.com
