The Law of Karma states that actions have consequences. It also states that these consequences accrue to the doer.
However, according to Advaita Vedanta, there is no such thing as a doer in reality. Advaita Vedanta says that even life and death are false states and compares them to experiences like waking, dreaming and sleeping.
