In your opinion, the order of things to do to escape the offshore currents:
1. Swim in a direction parallel to the shore
2. When the river current weakens, start swimming diagonally to get out of it and get to shore
3. Identify your own dangerous situation
4. If you encounter a fast current, relax, try floating on the water or standing in the water to keep your strength
