Clark and I fence five nights a week, and we record ourselves at least one bout every night...
Which means we have enough footage to release a long form fencing video every day...
In addition to the three shorts were release every day...

Is anybody going to be UPSET? About more content? Is there such a thing as too much content?

New Livestreams! MORE CONTENT!
Well, I'm officially insane.
We're trying out something new, and we'll be releasing three shorts a day plus up to four long-form videos a week!
We'll also be doing two live streams a week!
This decision came after we saw comments saying that people weren't seeing our instructional content, or are fencing content, or some specific meme that we were making.
Even though we post these things multiple times a week, the algorithm is a cruel mistress. And the solution is VOLUME! So now we'll be posting an informative video, a funny video, and a fencing video every single day.
Obviously the schedule is going to be a lot, and they'll be days where we don't make it, but shoot for the moon... and something about the stars. I don't know I'm not a philosopher!
As always, please check out the channel page. There's a lot of videos the algorithm does not feed people that we work very hard on. Amidst the thousands of videos that we've uploaded, there are probably a fair few that you haven't seen.

It's been a really tough and draining couple of months as I have moved to Dallas. There were a lot of catches, surprise costs, and headaches to deal with. But I'm here! And Clark and I have almost gotten the new space up and running!

New series launching tomorrow!
The ultimate dueling sword experiment.
Hey guys, Clark and I have been hard at work filming and editing a new series for you.
We are testing to see what the ultimate dueling sword is. Which sword is the most efficient at 1v1 duels!
I'm really excited about the series, the first episode is great!
Outside of train by frame lightsaber editing, just probably one of the more editing intensive videos I've put out. But I think you guys will enjoy the results. So please check it out when it comes out tomorrow morning!

New content ideas!
Let me know your thoughts
I'm always trying to make new and exciting videos and live streams. The problems I have is all of my content is very high effort (planning, editing, filming) and I publish every day.
These are some ideas for some lower effort, but fun and engaging content that I can share with you.
Game night:
I would stream games like Sea of thieves, valheim, V rising, maybe some modded multiplayer elden ring and other stuff like that.
(It's one of the only times I'd get to play video games 😂😭)
Training Vlog:
Showing bits of my workout, my solo training, my diet and nutrition, my editing, All of the driving, and of course lots and lots of fencing.
This could be a fun behind the scenes look, and also a cool way to connect with you guys more.
Training and practice streams:
Live streaming my solo sword practice once a week, and answering viewers questions.

This workshop will be about creating an epic yet historically believable fight scene, using the techniques you as a HEMAist already know. By just adding a few (but important) safety instructions in the exchanges, you will build your own cinema worthy choreography in no time.

Binden, Fühlen, Winden (Let's get kinky with a blindfold!)
Fighting with a sword is a conversation you have with your opponent. In this workshop, we will mainly focus on the aspect of "Fühlen an der Klinge/Feeling the Blade". This teaches you about angles and lines instinctively, understand the meaning of different pressures in the bind in order to react accordingly.
By taking away the ability to see, we will train in a very safe and controlled space about the "Fühlen/Feeling" so we can learn to listen to your opponent and give the right answer.

New underperforming content strategy.
Before I start this post, the channel's doing fine, and no I'm not whining about YouTube censoring me.
With that out of the way; As you guys know the algorithm is weird, unpredictable, and unforgiving. Sometimes when I post a video I think it's going to do well, it doesn't catch the algorithm.
Previously I've never re-uploaded videos, But the more I thought about it the more I think that some of these videos deserve a second chance, and you probably haven't even seen them anyway.
Going forward I'm going to start re-uploading videos I really liked that just didn't seem to land correctly. I will make sure this is done sparingly, but this will both help me continue posting every single day, and also help you guys see some videos you might not have seen previously.
Don't worry, I'm still making tons of new content! I just wanted to be honest with you guys like I always am.
