Well, I think I managed to complete the more complicated part of demonstrating ISP by hand. I'm actually really curious to see whether or not doing this same sort of thing with the HVSP protocol isn't bordering on a practical way to at least change fuses in one of the supporting ATtiny chips. But, there are things I'd like to do between then and now.

I'm working on an ISP video going over the initial bits.

It was helpful to know there's some actual interest in seeing ISP demonstrated. Some of the comments anticipated some of part of what I'd thought to go over. So, it's good to see I'm not completely off track.

Hopefully you'll be tolerant of edits. We'll see how it goes though.

WOW! It's weird to jump from having almost nobody watching anything to this level of response. It's kind of freaking me out. I'm quite introverted in a way that's not really a good fit for YouTube. But, it's really nice to see and hear from anyone benefiting from anything I've made, even from the level of vague awareness of some obscure little topic like how USB pull-ups can affect your troubleshooting process.

Pretty much every time I try to make a video, I get sidetracked into some detail that I'm not really sure most people would have the patience for or interest in. So, I feel the need to cover it in a separate video. That's partly how the video about USB pull-ups and showing in Device Manager/dmesg came into being. So, I'm glad to have a few people watching that demonstrate a high tolerance, if not interest, in seeing separate videos that cover somewhat random obscure specific topics.

I do have long list of ideas for videos that I'm considering of making; a number partially worked on. Most are things I've helped with, usually in connection with basic electronics and programming.
I don't know what what you'll see next, but it will probably be mostly determined by what has the fewest dependencies on other topics. Or at least other topics I want to explain or feel somewhat capable of explaining.
But, I'll try to make it worth watching in any case.
