So..... Gonna try and jiggle a few things about on the @TravisBickle1963 YouTube in the coming weeks & months.... Watching what others do and reading the tips & tricks pages it seems it's all about the 'clickbait' these days.... Always said I wouldn't go down this path... but... the channel itself despite having reasonable subscription numbers is not getting enough views for me to warrant spending as much time on it. The main niggle for me is the people that misappropriate your work without giving you credit..... I don't just transfer tapes I do it properly.... I have multiple setups with $$$ expensive kit... some tapes have multiple passes on different playback machines...... and you know what? I actually enjoy that part of it..... 'where did this part come from?'..... sellotaping snapped tapes..... manually adjusting tracking.... result! a tape that never played now plays!.... a tape that was in a draw somewhere is now officially 'archived' the professional way.
The Upshot from this is I'll try using better thumbnails..... watermarking the videos.... and using more ambiguous descriptions that make you want to click.......
And NO... there is no gimme $$$$$ link...... I want ya tapes! and ya tapes is all I want!
