A part me feels as if I shouldn't be talking about this right here and right now, but with all of these news articles and press reports about this controversy, and the constant talk about it through all of social media, my heart can only tell me to speak up about it.
Earlier today, YouTube has just began their AI Verification System, as announced a while ago. At first from many server announcements about this on Discord, I was very unsure whether this would effect us in The United States, considering that I thought it was just for the Europe with the UK's newly passed Online Safety Act, but to my surprise and horror, the news of YouTube adding, YES, an artificial intelligence system to verify someone's age by the start of today, Wednesday August 13th, unsettled me very much.
I've been against AI for a very long time now, and how it has been used by many people around social media and throughout online, and frankly it's just absurd that AI is used for so many things like AI FILMMAKING or AI GENERATED VOICES AND VIDEOS that look like they're from a straight up horror flick.
Now, I'm not sure about how this newly built in system would effect my videos otherwise, but hopefully many of them will stay up for as long as I'd like them to be around for many to see, especially my Thomas content both old and new. I really don't want certain videos, like Tanker Blaze or A Blast From the Past to be fucked up by this system, which goes to the other content I've made as well throughout the years.
Also, the fact that YouTube will also be adding huge restrictions and security on someone's platform if the AI system assumes the user is 18 and lower is really frustrating to me as well, because I'm not wasting my entire time showing an ID to an AI system for god knows what.
Again and no Suprise, I just really think having an AI generated program to verify someone's age is rather stupid and very unfair in my opinion, and hopefully the folks at the headquarters of YouTube will understand many people's outrage and outcry over this system, and the team could remove this system soon IF THEY EVER DO which I'm crossing my fingers on at this very moment.
But yeah that's all I really want to say about this issue and new system, but yeah just three words...
FUCK ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Please sign any petitions against this system at a change.org near you for the love of God. It's for your own good if you want this system removed sooner than later, I'll be on your side about it no matter what!

Dear Friends,
As we celebrate the anniversary of The Railway Series, it’s great to say that our dear friend, Edward was the engine to start it all! From being let out again to bringing a train home in a bad storm, it shows his growth and determination as he became older and older, and thankfully it doesn’t stop him from working hard. As we commence this legacy and stories of Sodor’s most famous and recognizable engines, It’s safe to say that many of us and I, truly think that these stories will continue further and beyond!
