Hello everyone. I have added a second channel for my own musical creations, that may fall outside the realm of what people enjoy on this channel. It will mainly be improvised music - a mixture of jazz, minimalism and experimental (although I'm hesitant to put a label on it). I realise a lot of people tune into this channel for the jazz tutorials and jazz standard arrangements, and some of the music I upload may not always fit that theme, so I have decided to keep them on separate channels (for now at least). Sorry for the delay with the sheet music for Lazy Blues for those who requested it - I AM still working on it, but I had to start again after I realised trying to do it in 6/8 was a terrible idea for some of the phrases. It may take me a bit of time to get done but it will get done! Thanks for your patience :)

I began playing the piano when I was about 15, and then become interested in blues piano when I was 18. I loved improvising and so it was natural to then get into jazz piano. I've learned most of what I know from listening to pianists such as Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Mccoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and Thelonious Monk, and from jazz theory books - there is always more to learn with music!
