Since 2007, FYJ has been dedicated to combining different musical elements, as well as performed outstanding song writing ability and unique self-accompanied singing style in talent shows, including One Million Stars, Super Idol and Super Star, establishing his solid appearance both on stages and in musical production.
From 2013 to 2020, many of his musical productions in collaboration with singers were either nominated or won the Golden Melody Awards, and was known as “ The best right hand” of the singers among all other singer-songwriters at that time.
His “Fan Style” combines elements of Chinese, Western, rap, hip-hop, R&B, symphony, rock, lyrics and Lo-Fi. His last name “Fan” seems to be symbolic for the word “Fantasy”, which stands for the creativeness of the infinite possibilities in his musical world.
