Old picture..
a CMC(?) industrial ceiling fan in an abandoned house. It's the 2nd abando-fan I've ever found. Not sure what size it is, maybe 48". I remember there was a Timezone regulator in the same room, which indicates the original regulator had been burned out/broken.
Now the house is no longer abandoned, and the fan is gone.

Throwback thursday..
a 60" Mistral industrial ceiling fan, hanging in a fried rice restaurant. One of the few Malaysian ceiling fans found in my city, and one of two Mistral ceiling fans I've ever seen. Last time I turned it on, it still runs fine.
I'll see when I can record it again.

I can't say this one as a throwback, more like an old picture.
a DEMC 36" industrial ceiling fan, located in a musalla. It has been repainted, its lower canopy is yellowed and it doesn't have an upper canopy. One of four ceiling fans inside, others being 1511s and a National F-EY149.
I just love how cute it is, hope to acquire one in good condition someday.

Throwback thursday...
A Kris 52" builder ceiling fan. There used to be three of these, but now they're all removed. Looks a lot like a Westinghouse Contractor's choice, but I have a feeling these are a little better in build quality.
They use speed regulators, no pull chains. Hope i'll be able to find another one sometime.

Throwback thursday to the first abando-fan I've ever found.
An unknown brand 52" ceiling fan. Polished Brass, it was in an abandoned shophouse. Lots of trash were placed directly under the fan, and that used to make me think, why. I believe it isn't an Uchida, it only has three shades and its characteristics are kinda different to one.
I think the fan is already gone, but I might check again.

throwback thursday to one of the most popular fans i've ever uploaded..
A white Alaska (PT.AMI) 52" ceiling fan, that's missing two of its blades. It was installed in an old mosque that now has been demolished. The blade arms are crooked, feels like it was forced to be a 3-bladed fan..
Honestly IDK what's the real value of this fan. But I'm glad to know that you guys used to love watching it.

throwback thursday..
This is a 48" GMC, in my old junior high school. It's the only 48" example I've ever seen. It doesn't work, most 56" versions I've found don't even spin.
The building where this fan is, has been demolished a long time ago. A new building has been built in the space, now it's their library.
I think it'll be interesting to own one, but it's never been on my top wanted list.

Well, someone has requested me to continue posting throwback pictures so here we are..
A Hunter Maribel, inside one of many restaurants at the Soekarno-Hatta international airport. I was amazed the moment I saw the fan. Never thought these were available in Indonesia.. Pretty interesting fan, if I'm not mistaken there were two in this particular restaurant.

Another throwback thursday..
Believe it or not, this is a CKE 56" industrial ceiling fan. This is the only example of this version I've ever seen in real life... Even maybe the only one on the entire internet. Definitely a fan that I won't miss, when one shows up for sale!
