Saw this for the first time at Dollar Tree so picked up a package. I am finding that cupcake liners no longer work and I'm not sure why. This might be a great alternative probably a good size for mini loaves, too

Well, we had quite a variety of books added to our #thursdaybooktube Due to all the rain and storm issues we are having up here, my interest is sketchier than usual so I can't tag anyone! But we have Connie's This and That, Kendra Full of Joy, Life with Patti, Mrs Peach Thrifty Living , Sarcastically 60 And Beyond and myself reviewing a whole range of books. Check out the playlist and enjoy This is an open collaboration so jump in at any time, tag myself and Life with Patti and use the hashtag #Thursdaybooktube and I'll get you on the playlist www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

We are currently looking at a combo bomb cyclone and atmospheric river coming through the county tonight through Friday or so. Heavy rain, wind, floods. We've been told to stay off the roads, where to get sandbags, and to prepare ourselves. I never get used to this. I am completely prepared although am kind of scared. Living up here is something else, let me tell you.

I posted this soup in its raw ingredient state thinking I would puree it at the end and make a sipping soup out of it. Well, it finally finished up in the crockpot and I'm not touching it. Perfection! Vegan if you leave it as is, vegetarian if you add some mozzarella to it (which I did) I seasoned with Dollar Tree tomato basil seasoning, an all purpose seasoning (Impossible foods this time) and the Cavendar's All-Purpose Greek seasoning, Here's what went into it: 2 cans of diced tomatoes, a zucchini, some shredded carrots, a small red onion, a rib of celery with the leaves, a potato, some garlic, a couple tablespoons of dried red lentils (they cook quickly) and a couple tablespoons of cooked red beans. About 1 cup of water or so. Several hours in the crockpot until all the veggies are soft. SO GOOD!

Setting up for winter with an "everything" crockpot soup from what I had in the pantry and fridge. 2 cans of diced tomatoes, a zucchini, some shredded carrots, a small red onion, a rib of celery with the leaves, a potato, some garlic, a couple tablespoons of dried red lentils (they cook quickly) and a couple tablespoons of cooked red beans. About 1 cup of water or so. When done, wiill be putting in the blender and making a puree. At that point, I'll season. Will eat some and freeze the rest. It smells great!

This is what a standard 10 oz package of Jet Puffed Mini Marshmallows looks like after they've been dehydrated. Oh my gosh, they are so good. Right now Jet Puffed mini marshmallows are available at Walmart and Dollar Tree. If all you have are full sized, cut them up into smaller chunks.Do not try dehydrating those colorful marshmallows at Dollar Tree. They do not dehydrate. The drying time at 135 degrees was about 16 hours. You want them crunchy like the ones in Lucky Charms cereal. They rehydrate in hot cocoa within seconds, they are also really good just "as is" Here's my video from last year on how I dehydrate marshmallows. https://youtu.be/jy2XLGfyG04?si=4V6X6...

Hit the jackpot at Goodwill Outlets. $15 for three flannel shirts and a High Seas Foul Weather rain jacket. Everything has been washed and I will be cleaning up the rain jacket. Went in there looking for flannel shirts for winter wear and the jacket appeared just as I was heading to the checkstand. I volunteer at the local food bank distributions and we spend a lot of time in the parking lot with no cover no matter what the weather, so this heavy jacket will be very welcome
