It's the big day! I'm already floored by the response we've had so far today, but we still need more! Go sign the petition at www.save.tf/, go make some noise on twitter, post videos of bots, anything you can to raise awareness! For my part, I'll be streaming on twitch.tv/pride_ for the next few hours, as well as participating in a stream at youtube.com/@fishstickonastick-gaming around 5:30 est. Make the state of the game known, and make sure that if valve doesn't do something about it their reputation is irreparably tarnished.

Team Fortress 2 is the best game of all time, and has been my favorite game for well over 10 years. Time and time again people have tried and failed to recapture its magic, but there will never and can never be another game like it. It’s a massive part of gaming history and internet culture that millions of people have played and loved. And it’s being killed. It’s been a long, painful few years seeing the game devolve to the state that it’s in currently. Bots are destroying casual servers, the new player experience is in ruins and valve continues to do nothing about it; save reap the rewards from their store.
2 years ago today, the community banded together for a peaceful protest against valve. Today many people think of this as a failure, because it didn’t end the bot crisis. Certainly, it wasn’t all we hoped for. But let’s not pretend it did nothing. While it’s hard to remember now, the bots DID reduce in numbers for a few months. We got massive changes to the votekick system to facilitate quicker bot eliminations, and many general fixes to the game. We didn’t get everything, but it was the only thing we’ve tried that worked; and it was certainly better than doing nothing. So we’re running it back. One week from tomorrow, on June 3rd, we’re making some noise again. We’re gonna make the state of the game known to everyone we can, and do everything we can to get it fixed.

So uh, idk if you guys noticed but I kinda took a mental health break. Sorry for not saying anything, but I really needed to just not think about anything related to youtube for awhile. In that time I streamed the entirety of both Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Persona 4 and oh my god, what a month. Both of those games completely blew me away, but that's beside the point. The point is I'm back in full force now, just finished a script writing stream. I plan to stream most of the process of making the extras video, if you guys want to make sure I'm making good time. I've met some of my oldest friends, who I still talk to to this day, through TF2. It pains me to see the game in the state it's in right now, where the only way to play is through servers like Uncletopia. I have a teeny tiny following, but I wouldn't even have that without tf2. It has always been my dream to one day make content for a living and without tf2 I would never have taken that first big step. This game means the world to me and I hope they can save it. I hope this doesn't stop at the tweet, valve did, and they actually do something. Honestly even if what they do doesn't work, I'll still take that over nothing at all. #SaveTF2

Hey guys just letting you know that since I HORRIBLY failed to create a video every day in december, I removed the ones I wasn’t happy with. It’s not like they got any views anyway lol. Next video is still in the script writing phase, hopefully I’ll be able to finish it soon. It’s been a real challenge trying to make the video flow well and also write about the things I really care about.

so unfortunately I clearly haven't been able to keep up with making videos every day. Between moving, getting a job, and moving again at the start of next year it's going to be hard to find time, and I'd rather just focus on my bigger projects. I'll still do the q&a video, and I'll try to have it out on christmas day. No promises though.

I have decided to stream most of production on my next video; a follow-up to my mvm video that will serve as setup for the alternate strats video. I have barely done any work so far on it partially due to school and partially due to just having no motivation. I’m hoping streaming it will help get my ass in gear to work effectively.
There’s already been at least one idea someone suggested that I liked enough to put in the video so if you want to try and make suggestions to improve it as I’m working, or even if you just wanna chill, check out the streams at twitch.tv/pride_
I’m hoping to stream monday, wednesday and friday for 3-6 hours per day just about every week, but I might not be able to some days because of school. Hope you guys understand.
