I was on vacation when the Canadian press reached out for an interview, and I had no idea it would gain so much Canadian media coverage! The underconsumption core trend has been picking up momentum over the past few months, and my whole account is dedicated to showing how you can consume less for!

While travel isn’t the most sustainable activity, I do my best to reduce my impact with a few mindful practices. Here’s how I try to keep things eco-friendly on the go:
I always pack reusables like a water bottle, coffee cup, collapsible containers for food, and reusable tissues—so handy!
Menstrual cups are a must for travel. They save so much space compared to disposable pads or tampons and can hold about 3-4 tampons' worth of blood, so less frequent changes are needed.
My DIY makeup, though lightly pigmented, is all I need. I store it in tiny containers to save space.
A scrunchie made from scrap materials keeps my hair in check with a touch of style.
I bring my own shampoo, conditioner bars, and soap to avoid using the tiny plastic bottles from hotels. Bar soaps are perfect for travel—they’re compact, and a little goes a long way!
Compression bags so I can pack more into a tiny bag without having to bring luggage. I traveled with a small backpack.
I stick to a plant-based diet as much as possible, enjoying local and seasonal fruits and veggies.
And, of course, I take time to admire nature. The variety of plants I encountered was incredible and inspiring! 🌱

🌿✨ July Recap ✨🌿
We kicked off the month with an unexpected 18-hour power outage, which turned into a refreshing mini social media detox. To make the most of it, we enjoyed a cozy meal at our favorite pizza spot in a neighboring town that still had power!
I was also featured in The Cool Down, where I shared how my mom creatively reuses orange peels.
I've been diving into sourdough baking, and now I'm baking about four loaves a week—there's no going back to regular bread! 🥖 Additionally, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Sage Masterclass, writing a blog post on using social media to grow my business and platform.
July was full of beautiful picnics and family meals, and I can't wait to see what August brings! ☀

June was a month filled with warm weather, the kids off from school, and plenty of outings and celebrations. We enjoyed our usual picnics and had the kids' friends over for some fun activities.

It's my birthday! I'm so excited to spend the day doing things I love. The weather has been amazing lately, and I've been enjoying my garden and having picnics with my husband. This is likely what I'll be doing all summer season too.
