Hi, I'm Skye, and I’m an avid backpacker, rock climber, hiker, and canyoneer. You'll also see my husband Garrett on here a lot as well, we adventure together and he will be doing some of his own gear reviews on my channel. Together we want to inspire your next outdoor adventure and share gear recommendations and reviews after testing all different hiking and backpacking products out on the trail.
Combined we have 20+ years of backpacking experience, and 5+ years using all ultralight gear. Both Garrett and I are climbing instructors and volunteer climb leaders for The Mountaineers in Washington State. Throughout the past 2+ years, we have been backpacking our way through South America, including the O Circuit in Torres del Paine, climbing in Spain and Thailand, canyoning in Madeira, scuba diving in SE Asia, and are currently living out of our van, road tripping our way around the US and Canada for climbing, canyoning, hiking, and backpacking.
