Born when a magic shooting star ripped through a thundercloud and fell to Earth, The Thunder Bison found himself roaming the Great Plains of the West. Having been a cloud, bringing life-giving rains to the plants, animals, and people of the Earth, he always viewed Gaia's beauty from above and was delighted in what he saw.
Now Earthbound, he began to realize that there was another side he didn't see from aloft. The rains he brought to the streams and fields were becoming polluted and the people of the Earth were not as grateful as he thought they were. Some animals were suffering and there was jealousy and greed at odds with nature. Many of its people were unhappy.
His mission is to instill renewed hope and joy to people through dance, song, and understanding. He wears the remnants of the shooting star in a medallion on his forehead, and carries his lightning power in a crystal around his neck.

The Crimson Unicorn spent her childhood days peacefully prancing and galloping through the ruby tree forests in the land of Laurion. Until one day when, seemingly out of nowhere, a Horde of Grublins attacked her village, carrying off her friends and family to their wicked subterranean city, Kraull. The Grublin horde, who had no talent for music or dancing, prized the Unicorn's magical Disco-Horn above all other treasures. They enslaved the noble horses, and forced them to shine their radiant light for the twisted amusement of their cruel Grublin King.
Alone and orphaned, through hot tears of vengeance, The Crimson Unicorn vowed to rescue her people, and become the protector and champion of all peaceful creatures. She sought out the ancient and wise Master Kii, a strange hermit-monk who lived in the mountains above her village. She trained night and day for what seemed like an eternity, and when it felt as if she could not lift a finger more, Master Kii gave a nod of approval. βYour heart is pure young one, and a red hot fire flows through your blood. Therefore, you shall now be called, The Crimson Unicorn.β She bowed her head in respect, bid farewell to the ancient master, and set out on her quest to rescue her family and help all who are in need.
