We believe that a church should have multiple pastors and deacons. Another pastor is a great gift from God to serve the church and the community. We have over 1,000 people locally on our list now and we need more pastors and more deacons to help in this community.

True Words Baptist Church reached 1,000 salvations on Sunday 8/24/25 since we opened on 10/13/24. We were about to head back to the church when we saw this young lady, Decatur, walking her dog down the sidewalk across from where we were standing. Nathan looked up the numbers for the day and said we needed one more. She was the one, 1000 saved in West Louisville. She was very happy to receive the gift of everlasting life. Thank God for Decatur. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! We give all glory and praise to God Almighty. Please pray for Decatur and for God's blessings in her life.

Tomorrow's 11 am service will be the ordination service for Gary Tapp to Deacon for True Words Baptist Church. He works hard for the church, supports the church greatly, goes out soul winning weekly, wins souls to Christ, helps people constantly, serves them in this area, picks people up, drops them off, mows the grass, trims the trees, calls people to check on them, visits people, purchases and prepares food constantly, picks things up that we need, gets supplies for us, loves the people, and cares for the people in West Louisville. Please join us for tomorrow's service at 1377 S. 20th St. in Louisville, KY. Celebration service! We have so much to do as one of the very few soul winning churches in West Louisville.
