my mantra:
i like me, i love me, i forgive me, i accept me
i like me (the physical) i love me (unconditionally) i forgive me (understanding the opinion is momentary) i accept me (silence)
The search for material possessions gives one reward at a time. The reward is always there but we continuously believe it is not and so we seek it outside ourselves only to find a glimpse of it each time we acquire a new possession or reach a new goal. It is a "partial" silencing of desire we continually find. Without "any" desires the joy of attainment is permanently discovered.
