This precious pup is getting so big.
I’ve started introducing him more and more to the house pigeons, Mufasa and Dabi.
He has done so good with them, not an ounce of “I want to eat you” but full of curiosity and “are you my friend?” Behavior.
He shows the same outside in the chicken run towards the chickens and outside pigeons.
Lady is still nervous of him but Lena, who grew up with 2 dogs, doesn’t give a wit. She has no fear but if he gets too intrusive (his middle name) she will give him a gentle peck on the nose to tell him to back off.
Love this pup and what he is becoming, I can’t wait for nicer weather so we can spend more time outside, training and playing!

Yuki and Ducky
He is so good with her, like, absolutely so gentle, never lifted a lip or offered to snap or even play “fight” with her.
Yes I’m still extremely watchful and cautious, never leaving them alone together, but I have hopes he will grow up to be like Samwise, who was an absolute gem with all of the birds.
Ducky can be rough, but he is so sweet and gentle.
He can be intrusive but he is learning.

Yuki is growing into such a gorgeous, confident dog.
Yesterday on our walk he met his first aggressive dogs.
He handled it well, only in the beginning did he try to get away, then when he realized he was safe he just watched them in confusion and interest.
We took a longer walk yesterday but I will keep them shorter for a bit longer as I was losing his attention on the trip home and it was harder to keep him focused on heeling.
Everyone I passed complimented me on how gorgeous he is and how well he’s doing 🥰

Homemade Tomato Sauce
Probably the last batch of sauce I’ll be canning this season.
I still have tomatoes on the vine but I doubt enough for canning, I’ll make a small maybe out of those and eat it right away.
This was a time consuming but fun project that I’ve always wanted to try.
