When I first started out, I just wanted to help parents.
I didn't know I could actually have fun with them together.
I started creating different events, it was kind of like an experiment phase for me and my clients.
I tried different things.
Library tour.
Book fair with me.
Health talks.
Education talks.
Cultural talks.
It was all over the place. lol
We were still learning and we still had fun.
But it was a bit hard for my clients to think about how those events could actually enrich their global vision and deepen their knowledge as a parent.
Until last Q4, things are writing themselves, even better than ChatGPT can offer.
Things were getting much more organised and themed.
I followed my heart.
I followed my clients' hearts.
My heart wants what my heart wants.
NOW - I am proud to have the events we have this month. (See the pic)
I can't wait to see what can be possible in March, April and many months beyond...

My new program clients all know how much I value Chinese at home, as much as I value English.
I never blend English in a Chinese sentence when I am in front of my girl. (Confession - I am quite Chinglish naturally when I am around my adult friends...not that I am proud of)
Even if I did, I would self-correct and explain myself.
I would not make it our new norm in the house.
I have been using my unique way of language acquisition on my girl with English and Cantonese.
It has been working for my girl effortlessly.
It has been working for my clients' kids too. (Effortlessly for the kids, a bit of effort on the parents though, not lying lol)
I have been spending an entire week to acquire Mandarin in my unique way, day and night, and even right now.
Just a week, my mind is already thinking and speaking in Mandarin.
The journey has been absorbing and I cannot quite stop myself. Just full of fun and surprises.
I believe I will soon be conversing with my girl in Mandarin without any resistance.
Of course, there will always be room to improve.
But I am not trying to raise the next Shakespeare here, just a global citizen.
It's the best gift I can offer as a parent.

I believe so.

My clients are radically thriving simply because we have each other.
Not just me. But they really do talk to each other, study together, and encourage each other.
In the past, I always thought I could offer more help with 1:1 service. But because of the cost, I only got to see them once a month. I even had to cut down my price 50% to make it accessible to most families.
I really wanted to serve more. But I didn't know how.
Some turned out great.
Some basically turned off half way through.
Because they felt alone, unmotivated and confused.
Thank God for his muse and fast forward to today, my brand new program finally blew the minds up.
The distinct study culture I carefully crafted is a total game-changer.
This morning we had a weekly call (yes, already happened, because I offer 8am and 8pm to cover parents from all walks of life), the parents were eagerly sharing the speeches they prepared for us.
After sharing, the parents were passionately praising each other 😊
What a joy to see.
Then I captured certain things they needed to work on and pushed them out of the comfort zone, it was a lot of a-ha moments.
I cannot stop preaching about my distinctive approach to bilingual parenting.
It is simply MAGICAL!
Words fail me to express how much I am proud of the personal transformations they made.
I have no doubt that their kids will shine because the kids already have the best parents they could ever ask for!

I am learning.
My clients are learning.
My clients' kids are learning.
I always love hosting my signature outdoor learning activity "Hike & Learn" so much, so so much.
I love visiting the same site for the same activity non-stop.
I never get bored. And I am not crazy.
💡Because the surroundings are different every time.
💡Because the kids are saying different stuff every time.
💡Because the conversations we have are different every time.
💡Even my knowledge bank is expanding every time.
This is all because of our inborn questioning power.
I love crafting different activities to recover our natural curiosity, the greatest gift we could ever ask for as a human being.
If you are still struggling to find an "interesting" place or activity to stuff your family time, that's because you are parenting your children wrong.
One should never rely on any external excitement because you can only be satisfied by the excitement coming from within.
Yes, you heard me.
Theme parks, playrooms or any other "親子好去處" you are following are still cool sometimes, but they are overrated.
Trust me, if you know my secret "Mind-blowing Questioning fun", just a random boring plant is more than enough to get you intrigued for an afternoon.
I am so proud of the new discoveries our clients opened themselves to this afternoon.
Their satisfaction fuelled me to dig deeper and go wilder in the year of the rabbit! 🐰
