Late 1940s Venner time switch catalogue, Venner made the air raid sirens local activation timer switches from ww2 though to the cold war period in the UK under the home office contract , unfortunately they are not shown directly in this catalogue, though interestingly on the last page 2 of the boxes in the dimensions section are described as able to take home office fuses

Early gents ww2 air raid siren flat vaine rotors, compared to more efficient slanted vaines of later cold war design, and some very heavy gents cast iron stators!
