"Die Rille kratzt ..." "The groove scratches..." represents music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s of the 20th century as we heard it back then. From vinyl records, and they certainly crackled, popped, and scratched. They were played on record changers such as the PE Musical 42, the Philips 22 GA 146, or the Elac Miracord 770H in stacks of up to 10. I don't edit the recordings; they simply fade in and out very gently to preserve the "sound" of the era. There's no set style. From hits to flops, everything is included. Rock, pop, disco, soul, Schlager, punk, and oddities—it's all mixed up here. Enjoy browsing and listening!
