For those of you who didn't already know, Rush is my favorite band that doesn't fall under the post-rock umbrella. They are right up there with artists like Hammock, Steve Roach, Anathema, and Sigur Ros in changing how I listen to music and how I view the world.
As Billy Corgan once put it, "A band that means a lot, to a lot of people" and I don't think anything more needs to be said than that. Moving Pictures turns 40 years old today, incredibly; this is my favorite song from the album.
