The 43 Year BIG NET was an amazing success ! Dave (LT727) and Jake (LT01) logged in over 130 breakers. Sadly i could not hear them all but i was active from 3pm onwards with a couple of hours break for dinner. The guys carried on air for over 9 hours. Amazing. My video of the net will be on the channel at 3pm Sat 9th Nov.

The 43 yr 27 UK FM BIG NET kicked off around 3pm in Herts, Beds and North London. Been on the net myself this afternoon and its been wall to wall non stop so far. I ve even be able to pick it up on a portable shortwave radio. LOL Its not even officially started yet and SOME people say that CB is long dead. I say DEAD wrong.

Uploaded a SHORT video of the Retevis RA-79 receiving AM aircraft. I think it actually doing quite a good job with the standard VHF / UHF antenna.

Welcome to the Fred in the Shed channel.
Contents include CB radio and PMR 446 reviews with recorded UK radio action inc the now famous "305" CB radio group. Live Steam engine kit builds and steam engine restorations. Helpful "how to do" sections on a lot of topics. A full series table top arcade machine build from start to finish. Car repairs and fixes as they occur on my cars. And pretty much anything else iam into at the time. The videos are produced in an easy going and easy to watch laid back manner. After all iam just a regular guy in a shed.
