My name is Sam Del Cid
I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I was born female and came out as lesbian when I was 14. I started using and drinking around that time and from there my life spiraled.
Being in toxic relationships with men and women and ruining relationships left and right. During my 27th and a half year of my life, I decided to turn my will over to a higher power and begin AA and try to be sober. I started in Jan 2024 but had two loses close to me in April and sadly relapsed.
It is now August 1, 2024 and I am 112 days clean and sober from all substances but caffeine.
I started to transition on March 11th 2023 but due to my using and alcoholism I stopped a month and a half later due to insurance and financial issues. Aka is spend my whole paychecks on drinking and going out and drugs.
March 25th, 2024 I decided to continue my transition in the right way and not take it for granted this time.
This is my story
