🥇🥇WOW, Vossi blew me away today🥹 I fully felt like all our hard work is paying off and reflected in today’s marks. Two new personal best scores for the Novice 4&5 straight tests with 71.2% and 71.5% at Brook Farm🏆

🪩Our first Area Festival in a Novice Freestyle - Voss flicking his toes in one of our medium trots at Speedgate Summer Area Festival to finish 4th on 67.9%🪩
A couple of costly mistakes - break’s. Currently my biggest fear when riding through this test (I get way too into the music and push just a bit too much🙈) let’s hope I can contain the excitement of wanting to push, push, push at our final Area Festival next week. Also hoping that all 3 judges recognise my final medium trot down the center line so we don’t miss out on marks. We will be competing in both the Novice and Novice Freestyle classes before starting out all over again - getting those all important qualification scores for the 2025 winter area’s - it doesn’t stop😂🤞🏼

The sparkles on my hat clearly brought us good luck today - WE ONLY WENT AND ACHIEVED OUR NEW PB SCORE FOR OUR FREESTYLE AND WON BOTH NOVICE CLASSES🤩🥳🎉 (our first score over 70%!! Safe to say, mum and I were speechless🤣)

Cannot thank @equidance.freestyle enough for all the support with the amazing music and floorplan which the judge loved today, undoubtedly contributing to lots of 8’s, giving us the 74.4% score🤩

How beaut is this photo from the Inter-Regionals🥹🫶🏼 Swipe to see what I thought was an “amazing” photo just 9 months ago at our second ever unaffiliated Dressage comp😆🙈 I haven’t had this much fun with horses since I was a child back in the Pony Club days!
I honestly can’t believe what we’ve achieved in such a short time. Absolutely none of this would have been possible without working hard every single week for the past year with the help of @georgiedaydressage 🙌🏻. I’m also so grateful to both Judy Firmston-Williams and @jezz_palmer who have also given fantastic advice and training in recent months too!
The best advice I can give - get yourself a trainer that genuinely supports you and wants to see you succeed as much as you do yourself guys!! 🙌🏼💪🏼

🎉🏆What an AMAZING weekend representing South East England British Dressage @bd_southandeast We brought home the trophy and Vossi and I came home with a top 10 placing individually out of a HUGELY talented class of over 40 competitors. Madness as we were first in today and held the lead all the way throughout the entire day until the final 4 riders (we finished 2nd which gave us an overall top 10 placing across both days) There were tears, there was laughter and there were wonderful friendships made - a weekend to remember forever🙌🏻🏅
💚Go team green!!! What an amazing team effort from everyone. Such a wonderful bunch of people and WOW, such a talented team!! SO many thank you’s to everybody involved and a huge well done to everyone who competed🎉🥳
