Skeji Wine Warr, born as Steven Koang Dak on July 3, 2001, in Nyirol, South Sudan, Skeji grew up in Kakuma, where his journey into music began at age 12. By 14, he had joined Street Boyz and recorded their first crew track, “Young Ghetto Soldier.” In 2015, Skeji gained recognition when Street Boyz won Kakuma Got Talent Season 2, catching the eye of Kenyan hip-hop star Octopizzo, who took him to The Trend Show With Larry Madowo , earning Skeji national recognition.
