Since Halloween is in a couple of days, I thought in the spirit of True Crime this video would bring some justice to those violated by the "please take one" rule--- when trick-or-treaters take more than one piece of candy they get pranked. It's some spooky fun.

Birthday was Monday, always overwhelmed or triggered (whatever you wanna call it)... Won't be posting for a while. I'll show up in chats when I can. Got super-stressed. Went to the hospital (ER) and have super high blood pressure. Seeing doctors the next few days here and there. I do have depression but always accepting treatment and help. So bear with me here guys... my stress this year went thru the roof and the topic of true crime can be stressful. Let alone, the environment of being online 24/7... stepping back helps me a lot. Any help I've gotten and can get is truly appreciated. If you can or want to help I'd be grateful. Was away for 3 days in the hospital. I didn't want to worry anyone. Post below this is my gofundme, Venmo & cash app is on my main page. I'm sorry to vent like this, just getting myself put back together like Humpty Dumpty, lol. Love and appreciate you all, in the TC community and outside of it. Thank you in advance. Love y'all.

Like so many others I'm going to struggle this year to host the holidays, including food, gifts, and essentials like trash bags, toilet paper, cleaners, and things I really need for my fur babies like kitty litter and cat food. For my birthday this year, please consider assisting me to have a happy holiday season; one with fewer worries and less stress. It's embarrassing to say life isn't perfect right now, especially financially. I'm finishing grad school in the next couple of years. I've been helping take care of my family's elderly grandfather in his 90s, shuttling from Ohio where his house is (he has Alzheimer's and eldercare thrives best with familiar people and surroundings). As I continue to look for more freelance and remote work, I am currently stuck in a limbo of eldercare and finishing school and have no family to rely on or ask for help from. Due to an estrangement based on me being the only telling the truth about a CSA in the family, in the past decade (plus) my situation in life has been my alone to navigate. But for the kindness of friends occasionally I wouldn't have made it this far.
I didn't need to elaborate but I wanted to share with everyone what's been going on here, and be fully transparent. Most importantly I'm proud of the fact that I've held onto my Ohio apartment (by a thread) to be closer to my children who are now grown (18 and 23 yo respectively). Kids will always need me, no matter what, and they come first. And rent ain't cheap, my friends. It's about $1800 month plus utilities. Also there's renter's insurance and I pay that. So while it seems asking for help for Christmas presents is a big ask, it's really the tip of the iceberg. Wanting to bake Christmas cookies, or treat people to a movie, only partly possible for me right now because while I do have food stamps, I can't use them at a local bakery, or get a bucket of KFC occasionally. I can bake the cookies though, and hopefully will have enough to do that this year.
Thank you so much to all of you, and if you can't help me please share this with others and let me know if you need anything too--- I do portraits, pet portraits (by hand with artists' pencils)... I do editing... I'll gladly pay it forward. If you're local, stop by for some cookies.
