This album is an ode to French poetry, that manifests itself through the arts, and in particular music and literature, which are the fields that touch me the most. It's also an ode to freedom, as France embodied an ideal of insubordination and revolution in the 19th century. Alongside Debussy, Satie, Faurรฉ, Saint-Saรซns, Ravel and Edith Piaf, the album closes with a very peaceful version of La Marseillaise, the hymn that once resounded in Europe as a cry against oppression.
A huge thank you to all those who have accompanied and supported me in this project, which has kept me busy for over a year: Baptiste Erard, Aurรฉlien Bourgois, Hugo Warynski, Aaron Elfasci, Fanny Elfasci, Fredrik Ekander, Johanna Svensson, Sharogh Rouhani, Linus Malmsten and Lisa รhman.

Two years after my first album ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฬ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐, I'm still carrying on with the project of celebrating the French music I love so much. My second album, ๐ท๐๐ฬ๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ฬง๐๐๐๐, will be released next month, and brings together all the great French composers (Satie, Ravel, Debussy, Faurรฉ, Saint-Saรซns) in unpublished arrangements for guitar. A first single will be posted on all music platforms in two weeks. It starts with an iconic classic: Erik Satie's ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฬ๐
๐๐ ๐ยฐ๐, in a version for two guitars.

Roxane Elfasci completed her musical studies at the Pรดle Supรฉrieur of Paris in the classes of Jรฉrรฉmy Jouve and Gรฉrard Abiton. In 2016, the Paris based guitar virtuoso uploaded her take on the classical composer Debussy's piece โClair de Luneโ, which has amassed over 10 million views on Youtube.
Since then, she has been praised by an array of critics and press, and was honoured as one of BBC Music Rising stars. She has also been supported by Spotifyโs New Classical, Amazon Musicโs Women of Guitar and featured in several guitar stations on Pandora.
Elfasci released her debut album โHommage รก Debussyโ in 2021, where she paid tribute to the famous composer, and followed up with her second album โPoรฉsie Franรงaiseโ in 2023. It featured previously unpublished arrangements for guitar - in solo or duo - of major works from the turn of the 20th century.
