I recently published a video that said "we very very rarely consider a % profit deal".
And then, I just signed a new client for my paid ads agency on a % profit deal 😆
% profit deals can be very problematic for a number of reasons and 99% of the time I say no. But, once in a while, you come across a potential partnership where it has a high chance of working.
Things to look for:
- Client is smart and knows their stuff
- They have a very good grip on their numbers
- Google Ads is the only channel for them (we're not gonna get stuck on arguments over which channel "really" drove that sale)
- My business intuition / people senses tell me this is a person who can be trusted
- High growth potential account
