This has been the hardest week of my life. I am not OK.
Just days after my precious cat Cleo crossed the rainbow bridge, this morning I said goodbye to my beloved dog Bentley after a well-fought battle with cancer. He was only five years old.
Bentley was the sweetest, most affectionate dog I’ve ever known. He could spend hours cuddling on the bed, then go just as long playing fetch with his favorite toy. He enjoyed his daily cookies, chewing on bones, long walks around the neighborhood he never wanted to end. And he was constantly by my side as I made these hundreds of YouTube videos for all of you.
Bentley Rowe, 2019-2024. Our time together may have been short, but your impact on my life is forever. I hope I get to see you again someday.

I've been obsessed with the Academy Awards since I was nine years old and watched my hero Steven Spielberg clean house at the 1994 ceremony with his back-to-back masterpieces Jurassic Park and Schindler's List. I started studying the history of the Oscars soon thereafter and have been fascinated by all the winners, nominees, no-shows, and controversies ever since.
I hold a BA in Film Production, MA in English, and MFA in Creative Writing, and what I try to bring to my videos each week is a mix of well-researched analysis and entertaining commentary that bring a new level of insight to you, the viewer.
