Monolith is a dynamic and genre-defying band that brings together a unique blend of musical influences and backgrounds, creating a sound that pushes the boundaries of rock, metal, and Latin rhythms. The band formed when seasoned industry professionals — bassist and founder Hernán "Motley" Rodríguez, guitarist/vocalist Andy Barrow, and producer Gabo Sanoja — united over a shared vision of crafting music that was both innovative and deeply expressive. Mike Mangini, formerly of Dream Theater and Extreme, completed the trio’s lineup, bringing in a legendary percussive force to the earliest forms of Monolith’s sound.
