Vaal volcanic fissure might be insane again if can get 100% soul gain prevention from runesmith enchants. The livestream showcased the mod being available. No more strength stacking, but with the melee buffs and nimis, Vaal Volcanic fissure does (11 * 2 * 352 + 352) * 2 = 16,192% damage per use, with just 2 snakes.

sorc seems pretty dead in season 4 with just blizzard ice spikes to fall back on. Unless boss HP is significantly nerfed, sorc will be far behind the other classes or need to use clunky permanent flame shield / fire bolt build.. I leveled up a sorc enough to test the new affixes, such as 'cast twice'. They are not 'casts' and as such have no synergy other than increasing your damage. I'm gonna make a rogue now.

D4 season 4 build ideas
I didn't play the PTR so don't know if any of these will work. Couldn't find anything explaining how the double casts work from the tempering manuals, but I intend to abuse the new radius scaling, lucky hit and double cast affixes from the tempering manuals.

i haven't played a lot of diablo 4 season 3, mostly because I find the balance decisions uninteresting and far too few, and the optimal pet abilities to just be uber uniques that give flat damage buffs you have to grind (evernight / genesis). Shako, evernight and genesis are the worst/laziest generically designed all purpose uniques in diablo 4.
I am trying to come up with a new build that uses something other than flash of adrenaline + tempest + evernight + genesis, but the bad pet AI and lack of ways to scale the pet is making it hard. We also don't know what tier will the gauntlet be (and it got delayed, so I don't know whether to design a speed clearing build or a boss clearing build).
