"Within 2-6 months we get used to any situation we're in. Wheter it's being in jail, living in a mansion, or working at Walmart. In 2-6 months a new baseline is set – the perspective that we rate experiences from."

Have you ever felt this? ... like wanting to go back to a shitty job for 2 months just to experience it again... so I can "reset" and appreciate what I have & how far I've gotten.

Heard this quote from Dan Bilzerian which rang true. I always tell people that it takes 2 months to get acclimated to a new city. Then it becomes your "normal".

Everything in life is relative – including how we perceive experiences. That's why sometimes a "reset" can be good.

Just got back home to Seattle to visit fam for the month of July. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

I haven't missed a Summer yet.

Being home always reminds me of when I first got started in business.

Back when I was doing D2D sales in the pouring rain or just grinding to make a few bucks.

We would work all day and then instantly go home and open the laptops to try and figure out a way to make money online.

Back then I couldn't even afford my own bedroom, I literally slept on the couch for an entire year.

Now my life looks totally different.

My agency is doing above $70k in monthly revenue and I'm able to live a pretty sweet life.

A lot of it came from just getting really really good at whatever I was doing.

Back then I would always try to pinpoint one thing that would set me free.

But now that i've reached that freedom i've realized the one thing that actually set me free was the relentless pursuit of skills.

Whatever you are doing, you have to get really fkn good at it.

For me the first skill and the most important skill that got me to where I am today is Sales.

Sales allows me to close new business for my agency, make money back when I was just starting out, and has just saved my ass so many times along the way.

When you learn the skill of sales it doesn't matter if you are going broke or have no money at all because you can simply sell your way out of any situation.

That's the importance of sales and I highly suggest that you learn the skill.

Because it's the one skill I attribute 99% of my success to.
