African music analysis focusing on different countries genres and the wider value chains. I use data for my research and opinion pieces with the goal of providing balanced commentary to help YOU the viewer come to your own conclusions.
The following is EXACTLY what I wrote when I started the channel in 2006 as a young man deeply intrigued and enthused by African music:
"Music is a way to live, we cry, laugh, relax, work, play and can do almost anything on it... why not enjoy the best of it??? Videos are hard to come by and whatz the point if they can't be seen??? Thatz why i'm here, to sort that out..."
Those were the days when African acts started to build something unique to lay the foundation for what we see now. I was inspired by acts such as P-Square, Kaysha, Teeyah, Skwatta Kamp, Johnny Ramos, Nameless and more to share the beautiful music of Africa because nobody was giving us a chance yet we were AMAZING.
This is how my journey continues...
