Hey friends!
It was brought to my attention after my latest podcast episode, that the "cashmere" yarn I talked about may be unethically sourced. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find information about the specific yarn, and I found varying information on the ethics of sourcing all cashmere yarn, in general. Seeing as Ive already purchased this yarn, I will continue to use it rather than let it go to waste. However, please know that at this point I don't *recommend* the yarn, as I don't want to potentially contribute to the problem of yarn being produced unethically. ❤️

Hi friends! ❤️
Hope you're all having a great start to your week! Something is weighing on me that I felt I should address. As you probably know, I have received a few gift packages over the last couple of months from some absolutely wonderful and generous subscribers who were either destashing or simply just wanting to share something with me. However, I feel as though my gratitude has not been effectively shown through the camera.
When I record a podcast, it feels like I'm sitting and chatting with friends so I don't hide my "real life," meaning I do often bring up the affordability of the things I'm working on, without ever really thinking twice about it, because budgeting is just part of our life. The yarn I purchase for myself is 95% of the time chosen because it's what's on sale, and I'm completely okay with that! I would shop this way even if I didn't have to as I like to be frugal. I am quite content with our means & I'm just thankful to have found a hobby I love so much! 🧶❤️
Anyway, my point is that I genuinely hope and pray that this doesn't ever come off as some kind of request or looking for pity of any kind because I never in my wildest dreams expected to have such kind and generous subscribers. It brings tears to my eyes just to think about! This community is a special one and I'm so thankful to get to be a part of it. Your love and support is most definitely not lost on me!! Going forward, I will be more clear on my intentions when mentioning affordability.
I am so thankful for each and every one of you and I hope you know it! ❤️❤️
