At the start of summer, my friend and long-time collaborator Ben Dowie came to visit. Whenever we have the chance, we try to find something to work on together. During his visit, we set out with a loose plan and went to talk to our friend and neighbour, Susan.
As we sat with her, Susan shared stories from her life and her hopes for the future of humanity. It was a deeply inspiring, magical experience that came about so naturally—her wisdom and optimism left a lasting impact on all of us.
Since filming, Susan has received a difficult diagnosis, and this, amongst other personal events, made me stop and revisit that conversation. I quickly realised it now held an even greater significance, and it became clear what this film would be.
If I’m fortunate enough to live to 92, I hope I can look back on life with the same contentment and faith in the future that Susan shared with us that day. Susan’s wisdom and spirit continue to inspire us every day, reminding us of the importance of hope and faith in the future.

Back in the winter @aquiloUK and I headed back to where we grew up and made this film—a visual journey into the world of their upcoming album.
Delving into the idea of growing up, holding onto what you once had, and learning to accept yourself—all through the darkness and beauty of uncertainty.
It was a magical experience, running around the Lake District in the cold with a special group of people.

NEW WORK: SG LEWIS ‘DAWN’
Early last year @SGLewisMusic came to me with the concept of the album he was creating - a three-parter, which followed the trajectory of one night - ‘Dusk, Dark and Dawn.’ I worked with Sam to create a story which visualised each part of one night, which would be soundtracked by tracks from each corresponding phase of the album.

Now, a year to the day, since the first part was released I’m excited to share the third and final part of the trilogy ‘Dawn’. Soundtracked by a personal favourite and the last track on the album ‘Easy Loving You’ feat. Kamille

NEW WORK: BENJAMIN FRANCIS LEFTWICH ‘GRATITUDE’
A couple of months ago, Ben sent me ‘Gratitude’, a beautiful and honest track which I instantly connected with. Hearing this track and the story it tells led to a discussion between us about everyone’s personal struggles with inner demons and how they affect everyone individually.
This is a film about letting go, a turning point, making peace with your past and moving forward.
