It goes without saying that this project has been a tough vision to realise, but it is born of passion, a will to never give up and immeasurable support from friends and fans alike.
"Exilium" is my 3rd solo album and the first to feature vocals from myself, which I've pretty much had to learn from scratch over the past couple of years. I couldn't have achieved this without the help of a handful of close friends and the expertise of vocal coach, Mary@voicehacks
A concept album from start to finish, "Exilium" tells the story of an exiled knight through a musical journey of melodic death metal, to an immersive symphonic backdrop.
Everyone is now able to pre-order the vinyl, CD, digital album, custom patch, T-shirt and more from my store. (The infamous "Sock of Doom" has even made a grand return by popular demand!). I ship everything from home and you will be directly supporting me by grabbing a copy. All CDs/vinyls personally signed by myself (vinyls numbered and limited to just 200 copies - get one while you can).
Pre-sale has now begun and anything you pick up from the store will go a long way in enabling me to continue making albums independently. "Exilium" will be released in full on October 11th - but a new single and the long-awaited music video will premiere on July 19th! Hope you enjoy the new music and thanks as ever for your support!

Guitar tracking for the new album has begun! Expect the return of epic riffs and absolutely gutwrenching melodies. I'm leaving everything I have on this record.
I can't post this update without paying tribute to the people who have backed me and continue to support me, either as my loyal patrons, by grabbing merch from my store, or simply commenting/sharing my music around. Your help has pushed me to step up and finish writing my 3rd solo record in 4 years, not to mention releasing another album in 2020 and two full video game soundtracks.. It's been absolutely intense, but being a full-time musician is all I have ever wanted and I literally owe it to you that I get to wake up and bust my ass every day of the week doing this. It is truly something I will never take for granted.
For those who have joined me as patrons on my songwriting streams, it has been an absolute pleasure putting this album together with you.

Soppy end of year post! Thank you for another incredible year of support. Given the chaos of 2020 and 2021, I look back on 2022 as a big step in the right direction, despite the odd setback along the way. I was finally able to release my 2nd solo album, "Arcade Metal", and take the Andy Gillion show on the road for the first time ever. Gigging again has been an absolute blessing and I look forward to the possibility of more live shows next year 🤘
Thanks to everyone who has picked up an album or merch from my store this year and a special mention to those who continue to support me through Patreon ❤️. It is still the absolute best way to support my music and help fund the albums I create. I cannot thank you enough! It has been a pleasure to make content for you this year and give you an insight into my creative process.
In 2023, I'll continue to work feverishly on my next two releases - I plan to start recording the melodeath album in the new year and Neverafter II is mostly written (and is the most beautiful, and at times, heaviest music I've ever composed). Besides this, I also hope to film and release a new educational course next year too, which I've been planning for some time.
I hope everyone here has an absolutely magnificent end to 2022. Given that the world basically ground to a halt over the last couple of years, it's worth remembering that we're still here and we're still surviving - and that's all that really matters 💪
