Sahibzada Muhammad Amanat Rasul is an avid student and researcher of Islamic history, tenets, jurisprudence, Shari'a law and hadiths. He has studied and taught in Denmark for nearly a decade, and has written and lectured extensively on the problems of Muslim assimilation in Western societies and culture. He believes that a modus Vivendi could be formulated for inter-faith relationship and harmony. He stands for a liberal, plural and a democratic polity: which could be achieved by applying the tenets of Islam. He has appeared in many TV Programs/ Talk shows addrssing ethical, moral, religious and cultural issues. He also publishes and edits bilingual magazine" Rooh-e-Buland" which draws its ethos from the teachings of Iqbal. Jinnah and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. Think-tank named " Fikr-e-Jadeed" is also in its embryonic state.
