Well Elon Musk begins his routine by waking up at 7:00 AM. In the first hour he looks for the Critical Emails and Messages on his smart-phone, so that he has a brief idea in his mind about the important work ahead. After shower, Elon will take the older children to his Ad Astra school on his way to work
Imagine taking your own children to be educated in a school that you developed and built with your SpaceX team.
Elon Musk spends between 80 to 90 hours a week working which is double the normal 40 hours a week for most people. A typical day in the life of Elon Musk is spent on 13 hours on work, 6 hours on sleep and 5 hours on non-essential work.
Of the 13 hours, Elon Musk spends 43% of his working hours in Tesla on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 42% in SpaceX on Monday and Friday and the remaining 15% between Neuralink, OpenAI and The Boring Company usually on Saturday.
Elon Musk's Work Ethics and Golden Rules are:
1) Dream big but make short goals. Because short goals are easy to accomplish and it will also boost your confidence in achieving the goal.
2) Break these short goals into easy and small tasks that could be done quickly. This is called Smart Working.
3) Utilize and manage every minute of your time as time is very precious than gold, and so you must use it wisely. You can always get your money back, but you cannot get time back. Have a 5-minute time block to work efficiently and to get the small tasks done.
4) Find a job that you love because life is very short so donât waste your time on what you hate. Better still, find a job that you love and that is important.
5) Take risk, if you succeed in it, then you will be appreciated. And if you failed, then you will learn a good lesson from it. And never ever give up.
6) Always give time to your family. No matter what work you do or where you live. You must spend your quality time with family or relatives because they are always there for you, with every turn in your life.
