First test of rough dimensions and proportions and I’m not digging it. It’s to small, the width is off and it’s not there yet. Time to start over. It will probably take me 3-4 attempts over a week to get this close to the correct shape. #atst #mailbox

I’ve been in the studio all day working with the LG chem battery modules out of the Jaguar I-Pace. I have been trying to get the JK BMS to connect to the onboard port only to discover that the battery modules have internal fuses. They appear to be 2 amp quick acting fuses and as you can guess some have been blown. Either in the disassembly process or in my wiring serve cells stopped reporting a voltage to the bms. I had no other choice but to cut the end caps and investigate the internal cells to see if I could find a good workaround for the fuses.
I believe I have a solid solution. Full video in the works.

Back in the studio after a 4 year hiatus. I was so excited that I welded a balloon 🎈 to celebrate. Actually it’s the start of something a lot bigger and more complex. This is a new technique for me so it will be challenging and a learning experience.

Those of you who have paid close attention have probably noticed that the channel has been undergoing some changes. I've been trying some things out.... things that either didn't work out or were not sustainable. So I'll be dusting off and relaunching the old mystery box series in the hopes that they might gain a little traction this next time around. If you have already watched the Mystery box series... please just ignore my retrospective for a while. Ill drop one video every day for 28 days.... after that it will be only new content.
I sincerely apologize that the channel has been a mess lately but just like life... things an get messy
