I'm proud to publish my second collaboration with The National Gallery of Art -- a video on the extraordinary work of Joris Hoefnagel, a polymath of the Northern Renaissance, an artist who expanded our appreciation and our knowledge of insects, among many other things. I so enjoyed making this. I really love this period in history. Antwerp in the 1500s is such a fascinating place. Check out the video below and on my channel. Enjoy! watch video on watch page

I've been eager to collaborate with a museum for a long time, so I was absolutely thrilled to get the opportunity to work with The National Galley Of Art on a video about Tseng Kwong Chi, one of the great photographers of the 20th century. I'm very proud of this video. Check it out here (and on my channel as well). Enjoy! watch video on watch page

Such a fun conversation with Matt Tabor and Kevin Lieber on The Create Unknown -- about Escape Into Meaning, The Nerdwriter, and the creative process. Making stuff online can be a solitary profession, so it's nice to chat and compare notes with people who work in the same field. watch video on watch page

Hi all. Simon & Schuster just informed me that my book release has been pushed to August 30th. I’m sure you’ve heard about (and experienced) supply chain issues caused by the pandemic. Well, it turns out that publishing is one of the affected industries. Sorry for the delay, especially to those who have pre-ordered. I’m far from the only author dealing with publication deferrals, and this isn’t a great tragedy in the scheme of things, but I can't help feeling a little bummed. After all these months, I’m so eager for you to finally read this thing! Everyone told me this would be a long process — oh how right they were. So it goes! Thanks for your patience and support.
I hope you have a great week,
Evan
