For the past 17 years Moon Mountain has been one of the most authentic and solid underground events in Asia. Spanning over the course of 3 days and being held on a floating village in the middle of Kanchanaburi lake in central Thailand, this surreal Mad-Max kind of gathering has been one of my annual highlights of my touring calendar and a well kept secret during all those years.
Created by good friends of mine, artists from our label and pioneers of the Trance scene in Asia with the mission to unify the creme de la creme of the Asian underground, it is sad news that this gathering will come to an end.
Due to the pandemic we were not able to host this special gathering in 2020 but we came up with the idea of a virtual gettogether featuring many of the usual suspects who will perform exclusive sets for this truly unique farewell party. The event is on since yesterday and tonight I am happy to contribute and channel my music into this sonic bubble.
Tune in and pump up your speakers as this night is going to be wild! My Boom Shankar set is scheduled for 9PM (GMT+2 | German time) tonight, Saturday, 7th of November, and will feature loads of unreleased and upcoming highlights from BMSS Records.
It's the first time I recorded a 100% exclusive BMSS set, showcasing what we will release in the months to come. As the party scene in South East Asia is in my opinion far more energetic than in Europe, expect a high octane roller coaster of a Psytrance ride.
All sets will feature amazing visualization, high quality audio and good vibes deluxe. I am looking forward to this final chapter of Moon Mountain and to reconnect with all of you - I am missing all you guys heaps, so let's at least virtually reconnect and dance like there is no tomorrow - about time to finally blast again and to spread good vibes!
