UPDATES TIME!!!!!
You've all probably seen the IOTA shorts I've been putting out for about the past month now, and they've been doing pretty good on the channel. Though I realized something. The two problems with the IOTA episodes being shorts on my game collection is that for one, I'm not focusing on making full length videos (Which is good because that burns me out of content way faster than making short-form videos), and two, it defeats the point of the IOTA branding which was originally "I found this cool game and I want to talk about it". At least, that's what I was doing for Mothergunship.
So I have a solution.
I'm gonna make full IOTAs again alongside the shorts, making them based on indie titles that I've found that are really cool or good or interesting to me. This way I can keep with the original concept of IOTA, while still doing the weekly content of the Shorts. Currently I've identified a few games I can make full IOTAs on. Some titles include Webbed, Steamworld (Yes I will do it eventually I promise, after all, Steamworld Heist 2 is coming out soon), and Creature in the Well. While I can't provide a good timeline for when these full videos will come out, I'll be shooting for one every 1-2 months, so stay tuned
I'll be streaming Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, a Zelda CD-i inspired game, this Saturday at 7:30 Central in order to get footage for a full IOTA. See you then!
Also I'll release a Casual Backtracking 3 on August 12th because I'm overdue by a couple months and still want to make one.

As you may have seen from my recently posted short, I am starting a new series on my channel called IOTA Shorts, where I review every game in my entire collection. I'm also going to occasionally make polls like these asking which games you'd like to see covered first (I'll make a video for each one, but this is mostly for "Which one we see first vs last). So, out of these options, which would you like to see made into an IOTA Short first?

I cannot fully express my gratitude about reaching this number! Y'all are amazing, thank you so much for watching! I know most of you are probably from Big Iron but Everything Happens Immediately, but still, thank you so much for subscribing! A few things of note as to what this means:
1. FACE REVEAL
As a part of Casual Backtracking 3, I will be including a section where I do a face reveal! I likely won't stream with a webcam much, but I might occasionally bring it on just for fun. (Cat reveal will happen too don't worry)
2: MONETIZATION
I have reached the subscriber milestone to unlock Monetization on my videos! My plan, however, is to NOT turn on ads for ANY VIDEOS released prior to the upcoming Casual Backtracking 3, for a few reasons. One is for history preservation purposes, two is so you can enjoy my content without ads, and three is because almost all my videos include some form of Nintendo music lol. So Big Iron won't be making my any money, but I might turn it on for future videos.
3: ANNIVERSARY STREAM
As usual, I will be streaming on May 12th, 2024 to mark my channels 3 year anniversary! I'll probably put out a poll as to which game I should play, but more than likely it'll be Zelda themed to keep up with the last few year's standards (Faces of Evil, TOTK, etc.)

Alright it's time for a couple of announcements:
1: I'm not dead. Just dead inside 👍
2: Thank you for 800 subscrubers! I assume a good portion of you subscribed from the Big Iron video, but I do really appreciate it! I don't think I've announced it here, but I will be doing a face reveal at 1000 subs so stay tuned!
3: For those of you who saw the video I posted Saturday (The Casual Cap-Skips 2024 Direct), yes, I will be returning to content next year! In fact I have plans to record a several videos over the next few weeks and then edit them over the course of my spring semester of college. As shown in the direct, this includes the return of Just a Couple of Mods, the second IOTA video, a pacifist playthrough of Portal 2, and the long awaited Fixing Europe video! I also have some videos that I didn't mention in the direct, like a pacifist playthrough of Super Mario Land 2 (if I can ever get around to scripting it of course) and some kind of Lethal Company video. But that's not all...
4: I'M STREAMING AGAIN!!!! Starting next week, I will stream every Wednesday and Sunday (excluding the 24th of course) up until January 10th, and a few extra interspersed streams here and there for fun! I'd love to make a full return but that's not likely to happen until Summer of 2024. After that I'll be out of my dorm and into an apartment, so it'll be much easier for me to stream consistently.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, I'll see you starting December 20th (hopefully with the return of an old stream series ;)) and in the meantime...

Well guys, today's the day I move to college, which means DEFINITELY not gonna have time for content. I wish I had left the channel in a better state but here we are. So a quick few notices. I will be posting a new album relatively soon, so be on the lookout for that. I will likely not be streaming, but there's a chance I might make a video or two. That's really all I have to say, just wanted to give a quick update. That being said, thank you for all the support you've shown me over the last two years. It's meant so much to me. I'll see you guys when I see you. And in the meantime, farewell.
