Hello peeps!! Long time no see gosh, just wanted to come here to say I’m not dead or quitting animating/drawing/uploading/ leaving or anything since I’ve seen some people commenting and being concerned that I’ve not posted in forever (which was really touching gosh).
And yeah I feel really bad about being absent, it wasn’t intended at all, I wasn’t planning on going on an hiatus. I’ve had some (a lot) of struggles with brain fog, lack of motivation for a lot of things in life, struggles with keeping up the still new for me school life routine, my ADHD made me hit a wall and then months upon months just passed by with a blink of an eye. Mental health is really tricky. But I got recently medicated for my ADHD finally and it’s an up and down journey to get back on track with everything. I still animate, I will NEVER stop animating or drawing since it’s my greatest tool in life, my absolute passion, I’m just going through a rut mentally.
But I am fine! No need to worry about me at all or think I’ll be just abandoning this channel or the community! No way in hell. And I apologize that I haven’t been active on well anything, I feel really guilty about it and I hope I can make up for it soon, especially with my Patreon supporters. I have been stocking up on a few different projects that I will be sharing on there very soon, and have new map parts that will also kickstart the end of this weird accidental hiatus too. Really hate how I just let the months just fly by and suddenly it’s been like 10 whole months since I last posted a video. Absolutely bonkers how hard time blindness hit me, felt like it was a month ago max.
But the medication has helped, still ups and downs with getting back to routine, to not forget to respond to people and to work on balancing things which I SUCK at. A balanced life is something I’ve always struggled with hard, work, school, friends, social, free time. And now as an adult it’s all on me to make it happen. But I’m working on it and taking steps to get there.
But yeah: I am okay don’t worry! It’s very nice though to see people noticing my absence, making me realize that I’m not invisible and people notice “hey wait… where is that weird teeth obsessed dude at? Did someone leave the back door open again?”
I appreciate it a lot! I have such a kind community around me that I am craving to get back to, and to get back to talking to the amazing friends I’ve met along the way instead of shutting in on myself and crawling under a rock for no logical reason at all and disappearing, it’s not fun and I want to be social again, just my dumb little neurodivergent brain getting in the way of what I ACTUALLY want to do, mental health is tricky and confusing, I don’t even understand my own brain honestly.
Sorry this got long, rambled a bit oop, BUT YEAH DON’T BE WORRIED FOR DORK, I’M JUST IN A RUT BUT I PROMISE I’LL BE BACK WITH THE MILK SOON, love and appreciate you all! <3
