At 15, what should have been a simple surgery led to the amputation of my foot—and the world I knew as an elite athlete. Yet, by grounding myself in gratitude and spending nearly a decade studying the mind, I discovered the one thing that is capital T True: we have power over our minds and the perspective we choose to take.
This moment led me to study Sports & Performance Psychology at the University of British Columbia where I am currently completing my Master's Degree.
