Follow us as we renovate an old Spanish farmhouse (cortijo) and land in the mountains of Andalucia.
We will share the ups and downs of this journey, learning as we go to live sustainably. I've been preserving food and cooking for years learning in each country we have lived in. Now we will need to renovate the property with zero experience learning as we go. We are in Andalucia in the region of Almeria in the mountains. We are passionate about regenerative agriculture, permaculture & the environment. Growing food & sharing recipes. Recycling, repurposing and doing things in a way that just makes sense in today's world.
We moved from Greece to Spain in August 2020. Travelling for 6 days on 3 ferries with all our animals and possessions in a van, we slept on ferries and camped in Italy and Spain.
