Louis VI, one half of hip-hop group OthaSoul and a born and raised Londoner. Raised by his mum, she introduced him to De La Soul & A Tribe Called Quest at an early age and making him listen to Gil Scott-Heron. Writing lyrics came naturally, and he was soon having to steal blank school ledger books to store all his bars, also learning to produce after at the age of 14 he used a fake ID to get into a free summer course for beginner producers at the London School of Sound.
He went on to teach himself to play multiple musical instruments, ranging from trumpet to keys and jazz drums, all of which influenced his rapping technique and production style. More recently after going through depression, he purposefully started being brutally honest with his music and not shying away from vulnerability after hearing Isaiah Rashad's Cilvia Demo. This lead to him releasing his EP Lonely Road of The Dreamer which featured Denai Moore, and enjoyed large organic success, not just in the UK but in the US
