Life pro tip: if you exercise enough, then it can take your mind off of whatever's bothering you. I got really into fitness, and got my nipples pierced a couple years ago, after my fiance's grandma got put in hospice, I took her to say goodbye, then her grandma died, my dad died, we went to both funerals together, my fiance ghosted me for her friend, and I got fired from my job that I'd had for almost five years, over the course of just a few weeks.

I could barely even breathe at times, because I just felt so hopeless, empty and alone. I couldn't sleep, I had no appetite, and I would break down crying about every other minute. But I got a new job, and if I could find the strength to get up and face each day, then you can too. #motivation

I would probably still take my ex back, even though she's abandoned me twice without warning so far, but on the bright side, by staying stuck on her, I've avoided meeting someone even worse.

I'm trying to decide which Louis Vuitton fragrance to buy next, between Afternoon Swim and Nouveau Monde. I would especially appreciate advice from @Eau.de.Jarino and ‪@Nubsfragrances‬ if possible.

Nouveau Monde is more suited for cold weather, like we're currently approaching where I live, and I just love its aroma. I have a sample, that I got from the LV store, and I've tested it at the store too. It has a smokey oud and leather fragrance that really agree with my nose.

Afternoon Swim is more of a warm weather fragrance, with the bright uplifting orange top notes and ambergris dry down, and it has that swimming pool scent note that Imagination also has, and I love that one too. My sample of Afternoon Swim has a lot less left than my sample of Nouveau Monde, but I've also had it a lot longer.

Thank you for voting!

My fragrance collection has grown a lot, since I got into this hobby about six months ago. It started with seeing a few Jeremy Fragrance videos on here, and then going to the store to try the fragrances that I heard him and other people mention.

The first fragrance I bought was Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir, from Ulta for full retail price, and they didn't even have the bigger bottle in stock lol but I still love that fragrance. I would probably get it for much cheaper now, but live and learn. It's the same case with the second bottle I bought, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Paradise Garden, from Amazon. I didn't realize that it was highly marked up because it wasn't available here in the United States yet. That being said, I still love the actual fragrance.

Then I started going to rack stores like TJ Maxx and Burlington, and buying a bunch of cheap fragrances like Lattafa and stuff like that. I did score a bottle of Bond No 9 New Bond St at TJ Maxx once, for $225, which is about half the retail price, so I'm glad I bought that. I bought Nomad from this website called The Perfume Spot a couple weeks ago. It's my favorite fragrance from them.

I really want to get Parfums de Marly Haltane next, and possibly Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Silk Mood Extrait, and I really want Guerlain Cherry Oud and Feve Gourmande. I want some more Louis Vuitton fragrances too. They're definitely my favorite designer fragrance house so far.

Today marks five years and eight months that I've been clean from hard drugs. December 17, 2018 was the last time I stuck a needle in my arm, to use a mystery powder that I had bought from a stranger, that was supposed to be fentanyl. It wasn't even close to the first time I ever woke up on the bathroom floor with the needle still in my arm, but so far it's the last.

The past couple years have been tough, especially my dad, grandma, and dog dying over that time period. One of the biggest motivations to stay clean for me is that I was clean when my dad died, and I believe he would be proud of me for not relapsing. It really didn't help, that my fiance's grandma died a week before my dad, and we went to both funerals together, just for her to ghost me for another guy a week later, or how she got back together with me for a couple months, just to ghost me again, but I get that things like that happen.

Thankfully I discovered exercise and perfumery. I'm sure that most of you who are seeing this added me on here because of my fragrance related content, and I'm so grateful for that. I think both of those hobbies have really helped me stay clean. I love playing music too. I'm a classically trained violinist, and I play guitar for fun a lot.

Have a great day and try to stay positive!!!

I picked up a few cheap fragrances from Burlington yesterday! I paid between $13 - $23 each.

1- Davidoff Cool Water EDT $23/75 ml

Cool Water was designed by the same perfumer as Creed Green Irish Tweed; people say they are almost identical.

2 - Michael Jordan Legend "cologne spray" $13/100 ml

Michael Jordan Legend is supposed to smell just like Bond No 9 New Haarlem. I have two official samples of New Haarlem, so I'm going to compare them.

3 - Banana Republic Pure White EDP $13/30 ml

I'm a big fan of Banana Republic fragrances, since even before I got into this hobby. I hadn't seen this one before, so I added it to my collection. It's like the 8th BR bottle I have so far.

4 - Lattafa Blue Oud EDP $20/100 ml

I have a few Lattafa fragrances, and I like them. I hadn't heard of this particular scent, but I haven't regretted any of the other Lattafa fragrances I've bought so far. I don't love Asad Zanzibar, but for the price, I'm not complaining. I like it better layered with Qaed Al fursan.

How did I do? What fragrance are you using today?

Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum is on sale for prime day on Amazon! I've been hoping to catch that on sale before it gets cold again! It's usually $125 for the 100 ml bottle, but it's only $88 today! It's one of the best cool weather men's fragrances made! Try it at Sephora and order it from Amazon.

I've been finding creative fragrance layering ideas for the last month or so, and these are two of my favorites so far. I call the first combo "Chilling in the Sweet Shadow", because Ombre means shadow in French. The light, uplifting citrus opening in Pacific Chill compliments the sweet vanilla in Instant Crush and the deeper, richer leather and oud in Ombre Nomade.

I call the second example "Night of Smokey Dreams", because Nuit means night and Attrape-Reves means dreamcatcher. Those two fragrances compliment each other so well, because one is a light, fresh, fruity, floral aroma and the other is incense and oud and musk. The Replica By the Fireplace just adds that little extra cherry on top.

I'm still pretty shredded and I smell amazing. I got in shape to win my ex back, and I did, but she's ghosted me again, sadly. C'est la vie.
